Joining us for today’s show, all the way from the Highlands of Scotland is Neil Lancaster!

As a young man, Neil served for six years in the Royal Air Force aka RAF. as a K-9 Military Police Officer serving in the UK and overseas. Without missing a beat, he joined the London Metropolitan Police Service,  also known as the "Met."

Neil served for over twenty-five years with the Met, predominantly as a detective, leading and conducting investigations into some of the most serious criminals across the UK and beyond. Neil acted as surveillance and covert policing specialist, using all types of techniques to arrest and prosecute drug dealers, human traffickers, fraudsters, and murderers.

Neil shares with us stories and technical details of his time as a K-9 handler with the RAF and his time as a detective with the Met.

Neil also shares common terms and slang used in the Met.

Neil has written three thrillers, the Tom Novak series, and has a new series beginning in July where he will introduce readers to Detective Sergeant Max Craigie of Police Scotland.
