Show Notes

Our guest today is Retired Chief Deputy Marc Cameron of the U.S. Marshals.

He holds a second-degree black belt in Jujitsu and is a certified scuba diver and man-tracking instructor.

As well as serving over 30 years in law enforcement both as a city police officer and the bulk of his career with the U.S. Marshals, he is also a best-selling author of three series, most notable the Tom Clancy /Jack Ryan Campus Thriller series.

Cameron takes us on his journey from being a small-town police officer to becoming a Chief Deputy for the U.S. Marshal Service. He also explains the role of the marshals in law enforcement and the different assignments he was involved in, including an explanation of the federal witness protection program.

Marc Cameron also gives us a peek at his successful author career. Marc goes through a “typical” writing day for him and how he manages to stay on track writing in three different best-selling series.
